Cole Allen

Cole Allen is a graduate of Morehead State University in Kentucky with a Bachelor's Degree in English Education and currently teaches high school journalism and mass media in Winchester, KY. He has experience teaching English to children in China online and has taught general high school English classes with high populations of ESL students. Cole has also experienced success in academic writing, having co-authored two research articles concerning strategies for teaching literature to reluctant students published in the January 2015 issue of English Journal and dialogical approaches to teaching literature in the May 2018 issue of Reading and Writing Quarterly. As a graduate of the National Writing Project, he continues to find meaningful ways to incorporate writing into his instruction for all students.
